About Us
Age and eligibility: this site is for adults only. You must be 21 or older, or older if your state or the sportsbook sets a higher minimum. Nothing here is aimed at anyone younger.
Offshore Sportsbooks for US Players is an independent comparison site for US bettors who are weighing offshore sportsbooks. We focus on one question: which of these sites look most dependable when it is time to get paid? That means payout speed, payout limits, verification demands and track record, along with odds, markets and bonus terms.
Offshore betting carries real risks. This page explains who we are, how we rank sites, how we earn money, and what we cannot tell you.
What we do, and what we don't
We research and compare offshore sportsbooks that say they accept US players. We write reviews, build comparison lists and explain banking, bonus terms and account rules in plain language.
We are not a sportsbook, we do not take bets, and we do not hold anyone's money. We are also not a law firm, a regulator or a tax adviser. We do not publish picks as guaranteed winners. No tip, system or sportsbook makes betting a dependable source of income.
The legal reality we put up front
The sportsbooks we cover are licensed outside the US, typically in places such as Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica. Accepting US customers is not the same as being authorized by your state. These sites sit in a legal grey area for US bettors.
- They are not regulated by a US state gaming commission or board.
- State protections do not apply. That includes segregated funds, state dispute resolution and any guarantee of payment.
- If a sportsbook delays, limits or refuses a withdrawal, your options may be very limited.
- Rules differ by state. Check your own state's laws, and consult a qualified professional for legal or tax questions.
We do not claim any sportsbook on this site is clearly legal, licensed or regulated for US bettors. Licensing details are the operators' own statements unless we say we verified them.
How we rate offshore sportsbooks
Our rankings rest on desk research: reviewing each operator's published terms, banking pages, market listings and public reputation. We do not claim our team deposited, bet or withdrew money with any of them. Where something is only advertised, we say so. Where we could not confirm it, we say that too.
| Factor | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Payout speed and reliability | Stated withdrawal timings, payout limits, withdrawal fees and reported track record of paying. Advertised speeds are not tested results. |
| Banking | Bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer, vouchers and cryptocurrency, including any fees. Availability for US customers should be confirmed at the sportsbook. |
| Odds and pricing | Point spread, moneyline and totals pricing, and any reduced juice. |
| Market coverage | NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf, MMA and horse racing or racebooks, plus props, futures, parlays and live betting. |
| Bonuses | Welcome and reload offers judged on rollover, minimum odds, time limits and eligibility, not headline size. |
| Trust and security | Reputation, site security, verification (KYC) practices and support. |
| Mobile | Whether betting works well in a mobile browser or app. |
The editorial ratings you see beside each listing are our own scores. They are not customer-review scores.
How the ranking looks right now
As of September 30, 2026, our top five are Lucky Rebel (10.0), Bovada (9.9), BetOnline (9.8), BetNow (9.7) and Everygame (9.6). BetUS, Sportsbetting, Xbet, MyBookie and ApuestaHoy follow. A high score does not mean a site is safe, and every listing carries trade-offs.
A few examples of how we think about the leaders:
- Lucky Rebel: advertises a 125% welcome offer up to $1,250 plus a 50 FreeBet. Limitation: a bonus this size usually comes with rollover requirements that must be read in full before depositing, and we cannot guarantee how it plays out in practice.
- Bovada: advertises a 50% bonus up to $250. Limitation: the bonus is smaller than many rivals, and as with every offshore site you have no US state protection if a payout is disputed.
- BetOnline: advertises $250 in free bets. Limitation: free bets normally have their own conditions, such as stakes not being returned in winnings, and the terms should be checked before you claim.
Every bonus figure is the operator's advertised offer. Always read the rollover or wagering requirement, minimum odds, time limit and eligibility rules on the sportsbook's own terms page before you deposit.
How we make money, and why that doesn't set rankings
We may earn a commission if you sign up with a sportsbook through a link on this site. That is how the site is funded. Commission does not buy position. Sportsbooks cannot pay to raise a score or remove a criticism, and we include drawbacks for every listing. Our terms and conditions cover how the site may be used.
Corrections and updates
Offers, banking options and terms change often, and our information can go stale. Each page shows an updated date. If you spot something out of date or wrong, send it through our contact page. We review reports and correct errors.
Responsible gambling
Only bet money you can afford to lose. Betting is entertainment, not a way to make income or fix money problems, and never a way to escape stress. Do not chase losses. Crypto balances can also swing in value, which adds risk.
Offshore sportsbooks may lack the limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion tools that regulated US operators must provide. If you need help, call 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) any time. See our responsible gambling page for tools and support options.
